Leen received her Bachelor's of Arts in Simultaneous Translation from the University of Damascusin Syria. She taught middle school and high school English in Syria before embarking on a journey to the United States. She received her Master’s degree in Comparative Literature in Arabic and FrenchLiterature and an interdisciplinary track in philosophy from the University of California, Riverside where she is pursuing her Ph.D. Leen is a passionate instructor that always inspires herstudents to strive for more. Her teaching methods engage students in the learning process and her superior grasp of English grammar make it easy for students to learn grammar easily. Herpassions are music, dancing, playing piano, and watching Star Trek Enterprise with Captain Picard.
